Disgraceful behaviour by the Wildcat crew, this is gross negligence and should be prosecuted.
One of the few people you dont ever mess with here is the maritine people, they will get their steak if you know what i mean, more so if there is any recording of it, vhf recording will be hell on earth for them and their stuff is getting a fine tooth comb now for any incidents or something out of order.

One of the divers is welcoming the investigation: Scuba diver left behind in ocean welcomes safety investigation

Lessons never learned, even after losing the Lonergans.

One article quoted the dive op as replying to the discovery: “I don’t mind if you want to put them back in the water and we can pick them up.”
Why would these two divers want to get back into the water so to have the dive op pick them up? Some one at the dive op was obvious narc'd.

I would probably be so lividly pissed (North American pissed, not Australian pissed) that when it came to retrieving my personal possessions from the dive op's boat a police escort would be needed so keep me from sinking the boat.

... that when it came to retrieving my personal possessions from the dive op's boat
I wonder what the captain said when he saw all that extra extra gear under the seats ?? And how come the passengers sitting next to the empty seats didn't speak up on the return trip ??

Geez, I dived with PDA at Rottnest in 1986. Those guys must have been on the inside of the island towards the mainland for the ferry to see them.
On the outside two or three miles offshore, the next stop is the east coast of Africa, but not to worry, the boys will get you first.

The waters there are those cool green waters. It’s a little north of the prime grounds down by Albany out to the Bight, but they come through.
