Yeah...that's the rub...I am the original owner...about 12 or so years ago...no receipt, anymore. Lost scanned copy in HD crash. LDS gave handwritten receipts, and had nothing either. Has also recently changed ownwership. The frustration is I am a lifetime SP consumer, and getting screwed by the small print, blows. Lifetime means LIFETIME as far as I'm concerned...but I do get it...What if I got them from somebody, already damaged? Thank you VERY MUCH for your help! It was worth a try.
 
Agreed but you can't really blame them. It's too prevent ebay and Craig's list purchases by peeps who then want to return them to SP for a new item..The warranty only applies to the original owner IF you can show proof of purchase. I make a habit of scanning everyone's receipts and storing in the cloud. Sorry about that...
