Could someone please let me know what spring straps are the best for the following fins :

Tusa X-Pert Zoom Fins Size XL
Scubapro Twin Jet Fins Size XL

I am looking at replacing my straps to some springs however I have heard that there are some brands to stay away from... does anyone have any of the above fins with spring straps and what brand are they ?

Ideally, I am looking for someone with these fins in XL also to find out what length spring straps they order also ?

How hard are they to install as I dont want to really butcher up my fins just to put these straps on ? Once they are installed, can you ever go back to the rubber straps or do you have to break the straps/make modifications to change the straps ??

Advice required please...

I have the Scubapro Twin Jets XL with Halcyon spring heels size XL too. A bit priceys but fits well with my drysuit boots.

With the Halcyon springs you can always go back and the install process is very easy, no problems at all.

One of my regular dive buddies uses the Tusa X-Pert Zoom fins. She uses these ...

They retrofit easily and are quite comfortable. If you scroll to the bottom of the description they tell you how to determine the correct size to order.

Which drysuit boots do you have ? I have DUI Rockboots and have been told that they are alot wider than the normal drysuit boots not that I have ever had any other drysuit boots.

Has she ever said they have slipped down or got caught on anything at all ? Like shore diving walking in from the rocks ?? They look quite good and will probably more and likely order these ones for my Tusa X-Pert Zoom Fins.... Thanks!

I have noticed that they dont fit the Scubapro... does anyone else know of some good quality spring straps that will fit the Scubapro Twin Jets Fins ???

I have a Scubapro Anchorage drysuit, size L. Seems like the Twin Jets are designed for that drysuit :)

Concur that Boogie's straps are good - but only work for post-type fins.

Boogie - you gotta make the other style too!
