I saw the TUSA RS 520 going pretty cheap at LP but I can't find any real informaton/reviews on it.

Anyone have any information on it. Is this a clone of something else?

The rs520 is a piston 1st stage and I think only the sherwood has a enviro sealed piston 1st stage. Given your high cost of maintence on the island I would think you might do better to get a sealed 1st stage type 1st (if you can find one for the same price). On the up side it has an adjustable 1st which means you can do some easy tuning yourself (given the high cost of your lds this is a good thing).

The 2nd stage is not adjustable which puts you about on par with the 2nd stage you have now.

Overall compared to your current set up your loosing enviro sealed 1st, gaining adjustable 1st, and gaining balanced 1st as the brut is the only version of the sherwood 1st that is not balanced.
