I have a duo air that is acting up. It was attached to a seaquest bc and seems to have been modified to do so. I don't think the modification has anything to do with the problem. It is vibrating while trying to breathe from it. If you push in on the purge ever so lightly it works ok. Does it just need to be serviced and can any one tell me how to remove the face plate to check the diapham. Thanks in advance.

It needs servicing.

To remove the cover, you need to depress the purge and then remove the pin out in the side of the case by pressing it out from inside through the hole in the purge cover. Just be careful not to poke a hole in the diaphragm.

Oncve the pin is out, you unscrew the cover.

I figured as much about the servicing. I did get it apart and everything looked fins so I will just take it in with the regs to get a annual service.
Thanks
