Yes, I agree, I was just in Sipadan 2 weeks ago and the vis could have been a lot better, it ranged from 6-25m but on average was about 10 for 90% of the dives. I don't really know why the vis was poor.

I'll add to the sentiment that there are so many turtles there you are pushing them out of the way to see everything else. also tons of reef sharks, I saw whitetips, blacktips, grey sharks and one thresher, no hammerheads though!

Curious as we just returned from Sipadan/Mabul and had a great time. Can anyone tell me the average visibility they experienced? We had great diving, but the vis. could have a been a bit better. Maybe due to the rain
