Hi everyone.

I got the attached photo from a diver who is not sure what species it is. I don't really have a clue, so I thought I might enlist a bit of Scubaboard help.:D

The photo was taken on Aliwal Shoal in South Africa. Apart from that I don't have any other info.

He suspects that is is either a Green Turtle or a Loggerhead, but isn't sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, Loggerhead it is!

First Costal Plate touches Nuchal. Indentation of the shell at the front shoulder. Dead give-aways!
