One of the ladies on our trip arrived a few days before - we picked her up at her hotel on the way to the boat - IIRC it was from the Grace Bay area. The EV "shuttle" is a taxi/van driver that they use regularly - the same person took us both ways and to Grace Bay on Friday night.

We did this 2 years ago when the T&C Islands were hit by not 1 but 2 hurricanes. We had no insurance and would have lost everything had not the airlines cancelled flights and Explorer moved their boat out of the island to avoid the disaster. Luckily we were able to reschedule a week later, but the vis was mostly horrible. I strongly recommend trip insurance to the Caribbean this time of year.
