Yes it was St.Kitts (Provo) to St. Martin We had paid to go to T&C, but they cancelled the trip alltogether with one week to go before we left. Everyone involved had to scramble, and get all the other plans changed to fit the new destinations. My hats off to Jean of Aqua Dreams who worked her fanny off to see that everything got fixed in time.
As for what dive sites, I would have to go look in my logbook. Alot of the dives were focused on the West side of Statia, as the water was somewhat whipped up by winds out in the open ocean. We did have some currents on most all the dives, and not like the nice ones in Cozumel either. Some were good others were tough. I ended up helping my wife back to the boat on one night dive, as she got pooped out. We were making about 6 inches with each fin stroke. And before it starts, YES we knew we should have stayed up current, but we returned so fast to the boat on thew return we chose to go a bit down current to check out the reef as we still had lots of time left, and that was a mistake I remeber that we did Pinnicles, twice as we never found it the first dive. DM could not locate it, we ran through the entire tank swimming around in deep blue water w/ current. We also liked diamond rock (Or something close to that) it had a killer current, to the point that you could not get around and back to the boat. You had to swim back. Lots of other divers I found, huddled in the eddy just down current of the rock, while they caught thier breath
Has anyone been to both the T&C, and St. Kitts/St. Martin dives, and give us a comparision to each areas reefs/wildlife?
