Hi - saw this diving at Blue Heron Bridge in about 15 ft of water. What is that thing above the eel - a tunicate? It was about an inch around and I didn't notice it until I looked at the picture. Thanks.

No guesses from anyone here? In the BHB thread, CoolTech thought it might be a baby octopus hiding in a PVC pipe. I'm not sure that the cylinder is a PVC pipe, but I agree that the thing inside could be an octopus.
 
Agree with retracted tube worms ID. Maybe some of the regulars at BHB have seen them out and/or have pics. Especially the ones that night dive there.
