The Tuna Seazure made it out on Saturday morning and despite being delayed by a certain mate (I'm not naming names), we found our destination clear and got in the pool. The vis at the surface was terrible, but it opened up at the bottom (15 ft). Due to the cloud cover and the surface vis, it was a dark first dive but still numerous items were brought up including lobster, multiple big winter flounder, fluke, tautog, sea bass, and a copper pipe. The second dive was brighter and also productive.
When divers came up from the second dive, they found that surface conditions had deteriorated (3'-5' seas) and we quickly got everything ready to go home. We got back to the dock and unloaded everything in the scorching sun and heat.
The water is finally warming up and divers had 55 degrees on the bottom.
We've got interest already for Wednesday and Saturday this week (will decide where at the dock but less then 100ft.) and the offshore forecast looks good all week. We are always looking for people and Capt. Bill will run any day there are 4 (or more) divers. Call the shop if you are interested. The shop number is 610 631 2288.
