Which hotel would you stay at if you had non-diving persons joining and the cost is important but not the major factor

Hi,

i was also thinking about diving in ytumlamban...not sure yet where I'll be staying.
Tauch Terminal(with the school tehre) or at another hotel with a (different dive school)

Wouldn't actually stay in Tulamben for more than a day with non divers... A better option I think would be Amed and for the divers to do the 30 minutes trip to Tulamben

I stayed at the Paradise and thought it was nice. I don't think Tulamben is a good place for non-divers. Although it sounds really cool at night, the beach is all rock. They'll have to travel if they want to lie on the sunny sand.

Thanks for the Advice. Mmm. Looks like this is gonna be another head ache and I will look in Amed for suitable accomodation.

Agree there.
making decisions where to stay is not easy. Tauch Terminal seems Ideal. but Staying in Amed just 30 minutes away is a great option.
More things to do and being the second group to arrive is OK imo.

Stayed at the Paradise too.

One can forget about the sandy beaches, as T has pebble beach. Big pebbles.

One thing I liked about T is the peacefulness of that place. Usually, interupted by the occassional outboard motors and the laughters from the staff.

The pizza and the carb meat soup are mouth watering.

jiveturkey once bubbled...

Warning about the emrald...they charge everything in dollars!!
Could be pretty expensive I think.
