Normally I don't even take shots of octopus as I have so many that are hohum with unccoperative subjects. Today this guy was getting psychedelic and aggressive so I took a couple of frames. So glad I did - I am loving the colours and textures and patterns on this guy!

That is all his colour!

I think he was defending his territory as there were a bunch of fish harrassing him. I saw him from about 10m away so I doubt it was me :11:

As you can see from the lovely framing :icorolley - I didn't get too close and I didn't stay in the zone...I moved back to watch the action!
