Today, Aug. 25, 2015, while on a dive with me, her husband, Lynne failed to surface. The Coast Guard is still searching but it is highly unlikely of a successful rescue.

She had always told me that in the event of her death, she wanted all of the details to be made public. Unfortunately, there aren't any good details -- we had just descended, hit the expected current and then she was gone.

I have no words right now. Just praying that she's okay and they find her safe.

I only ever once chatted with her on FB chat. She gave me valuable advice. I'm so sorry for any who knew her better then I did. May her memory be a blessing and her blessing a memory.

Se very very saddened for your loss and the huge loss to the dive community. Lynn was always a voice of reason here and a mentor to many. I admired her greatly.
