Trying shots in the pool - chlorine ok for housings/strobe?

This is probably one of the silliest questions in here...:D
I have read a few posts where people talk about trying out their new system in a pool. I know that of course the saltwater is harsh on equipment, but how about chlorine in the pool or other chemicals? I have a tetra housing and S&S strobe and would like to try out some things in the pool first...

It's fine. Just make sure you rinse your housing real good. I get in the pool all the time to work out stuff.
