i live and dive the tropical water of se asia. i am an AOW recreational diver and have no ambitions to dive cold or fresh water or do any technical or cave diving.
i am thinking about buying my first set of dive gear and am looking for reccos for bcds and regs.
for bcds, the main brands out here are scuba pro, mares, dacor, and seacsub, with the dominant brands being SP and Mares.
of these brands (and taking into considerations by diving habits as outlined above), could anyone give me a bcd recco. the SP classic sport, assend or glides seem good??
i prefer a non-weight intergrated bcd and a little on the large size...5'10" and around 200lbs. when i rent, i take an XL BCD.
