There are 2 clips of tigers immediately after the hammers. I was lucky on this trip.Whoa! Was that a tiger there at the beginning? And some great up-close hammer encounters - and the whale shark! We were certainly not as lucky when I was on the Explorer last year in mid-December... makes me think I should give Socorro another chance since this seems like a terrific trip you had!
My first time to Socorro, so I can’t answer about how common it is to see tigers. Perhaps others can chip in.Nice! How common is it to see tiger sharks in that region? Of the big Pacific region big animal destinations of the America, Socorros, Cocos Island, Malpelo and the Galapagos, I only hear of Cocos in relation to tiger sharks.
For the matter, since Guadalupe with the great whites is not an extreme distance from the Socorros, I wonder why we don’t hear more of white shark sightings in the region?
