Hi all,

I did some searching and couldn't find what I was looking for in other threads, so here goes...

Does anyone know if Island Air still does day trips to LC? Anyone done it? My wife really wants to visit either LC or the Brac (or both) sometime between now and mid-April. A weekend trip would be ideal, but from what I can find, things are pretty booked up this time of year. Does Cayman Air fly too high coming back from the sisters to dive and fly without danger? If you were going to go to one or the other for a long weekend, which would you do?

Thanks.

Bill.

Island Air is operating on a charter only basis. Only Cayman Airways is offering routine passenger service to the Sister Islands.

Too bad. Thanks for the info.

Island Air flew too high as well. If you are flying from one island to another, assume an altitude of 7-10 thousand feet; so no decompression rules apply.

Yes. And that is also true of Cayman Airways Twin Otters.

Yep double checked with Cayman Airways and they fly too high. There actually was a time when Island Air had a day trip to Little Cayman specifically for divers with a low altitude flight pattern. Island Air, Grand Cayman Islands

Unfortunately that was then and this is now.:(
