Hello folks,
I will be travelling to Bonaire on december, to a week long stay at the island.
Do you guys have any recomendation about the best places (beyond the Hilma...:D), that are worth to dive on a trip like this.
Restaurants tips are welcome too :14:
Thanks

All of them.....dives and restaurants.
Really, all the sites are good but if I had to pick just a few my real short list would be HH, 1000 Steps, Oil Slick, Karpata and Andra I or II.
Same goes for restaurants but again my short list would include City Cafe, Cactus Blue, Casa Blanca and Bobbie Jans.
I don't know of a bad dive site or restaurant on the island.

Here's a dive I missed....this time. A shore dive from the "wild side". Talk with Bart from Wannadive. You must be an "expert" diver - by their definition: 60 dives and AOW. There is a substantial current getting out through the channel (that feeds the bay where the windsurfers are). The folks I've spoken to who have done the dive say you see so many turtles, spotted rays, etc. that you stop counting them. I think the dive is $50.

Hummmm, diving with Bart on the wild side...that has got to be fun.

When I was there earlier this year I found the northern dive sites to have much better vis. A few weeks ago some friends of mine were there and said the same thing. I think there are the sites like 1000 Steps, Old Blue, etc.

As far as places to eat, I'll second Casa Blanca and Richards is also great. Might need to make reservations for Richards though. Also, on Friday night I think it is, Buddy's has a great beach side buffet with steak, fish, chicken, shrimp etc. You don't have to be staying there to enjoy it.
