Looking for some suggestion of where to go at the end of OCT beginning of NOV. Hopefully it's not the raining season for most of asia.

Already been to Sipidan, the similian islands, maldives and Palau twice. So would like to go somewhere new. Prefer to see some more of the big stuff and than the macro, unless the macro is really spectacular. Hopefully the place has some nice hotels, cuz the wife refuses to go stay anywhere ghetto.

If there isn't anything good, then probably will head back to palau.

A few suggestions fitting your criteria that you may want to check out....

Bali, Indonesia - The dives around Nusu Pendia and Lembongan are good for big stuff, including Mola Molas (although you may be a little late) while the east coast is great for macro stuff. There are no shortage of hotels to choose from as well.

Wakatobi, Indonesia - Only one resort, but it's a very long way from 'ghetto'. Absolutely incredible diving. The only issue may be if there is enough to occupy non-divers activity wise.

Bunaken, Indonesia - Lovely wall diving and a huge variety of big and small stuff to see. On Bunaken Island itself, there are plenty of places to stay, but not so much to do for non-divers, but there are also many resorts with dive centres on the mainland around Manado which might suit you better.

Visayas region, Philippines - Plenty of options for places to stay, plus good, varied diving. Bohol, Negros and Cebu are more developed than Leyte, so they may be better options for you.

PNG - More commonly dived by Liveaboard, but there are a few luxury resorts dotted around with land-based diving operations and some superb dive sites that can be reached by day boat.
