July wasn't normal weather, the wind should have been gone.

i was certified over Thankgiving 2009. I wore a 3 mm and was very comfortable. The water should still be in the lower to mid-70s. It's a nice time to dive. I'm going down there over Thankgiving this year. My birthday is the 19th, so I go down early and stay for about 10 days or so.

I'll find out, but my guess is mid- to high 70s. The water was still pretty warm a couple weeks ago and it doesn't really start cooling down until late October.

We should try to get a sticky for San Carlos trip reports and dive conditions.

That's a good idea. How do we do that, just ask?

I asked and was shot down. The advice was to start a thread and then just keep adding updates to keep it current.

Okay, when I hear what the current temps are, I'll start a thread and then we can add to it as get more data.

Yep, that's what I'm planning. Also, have to renew my FM-2 visa. Good excuse to go down for a week.
