Regarding the nudi bottles (almost sounds alcoholic). They were being collected by photographers to try to find , identify & photograph new species/specimens.

Maybe the resort is trying to develop a local type of tequila? Don't forget to swallow the Nudi when you finnish the bottle...

You mentioned taking the boat from Sabang beach back to Bantagas pier and then a tricycle (800 php) to Anilao. How long was the ride from the Batangas pier to Club Ocellaris? Any idea what was the distance in kilometers? Did you notice if there were cars or vans for hire in the Batangas pier for such trip? I am interested in something bigger than a tricycle as I will be traveling with a companion, plus luggage.

suggest you look for the vans when you will arrive in batangas to go to PG. Although in theory you can take tricycle. its very long, maybe 15 kilometers or even 20. It can take as long as one hour in car due to traffic.

i recommedn asking around at Batangas Passenger terminal to the vans or FX that are there. Also you can look for terminal manager of ATI at Batangas pier, Ms Fe Calderon. Ask her assistance, she can assist you

You'd be surprised how much stuff they can fit on a trike in the Philippines...
My wife and I managed to fit on a trike together with all our gear. It was a bit hairy but for a short ride it was manageable. Worse case, you can always take two trikes
