Just wrapping up another Bonaire trip. Will keep it short. Weather great and so was the vis - 100 + most places and some even better. Much better vis than in Jan. Water temps 82 with 81 at depth. Loggerheads are here in numbers and size. Most of the usual suspects and of note a beautiful eagle ray encounter in about 9’ of water right of the Capt Don dock. Early am with nice light, had my camera and by myself. Will post pics and video later.
Usual dining experiences with nice dinners at ingridients and casual bar dinners Rum Runners. New this time the new Chinese place just down the road, Carrefour, and would recommend for easy and ac dining. Also two breakfasts and one lunch at krioyo fusion at isedel park - highly recommend.
18 dives of which 6 boat and the rest solo shore. Two large clubs at Capt Dons this week and was able to boat dive on a third boat with a nice smaller group most from Arkansas. Nice folks and all good divers. Finally made it to ole blue/tolo and it was beautiful.
Capt Dons celebrating a special anniversary and they have a raffle for a week’s stay and diving. Certain to be returning soon after we win it
