It's not about posting your bad experience on everybody else's trip report. That just destroys your credibility. Well, that and only joining the board to post your beef. If people are looking for info on the boat, their search will bring up all the messages including your bad experience. People then weigh all experiences, possibly giving your more recent trip experience more creedence.

Moving onto the logical step of insulting someone you know nothing about, eh? FWIW, I believed your story about what happened to you though there were things that I wouldn't have done, like book the same cruise back to back and expect them to go to different places. You state that your own gut feeling already told you this. Some of your expectations seem a bit beyond for my experiences in that part of the world and on these types of boats. People at the vice pres level generally have little to do with the boat itinerary. They usually only rake the money. I agree that they told you lots of things and kept your 10 grand and that sucks. But posting your "oh no, it isn't" message on everybody else's "I had a good time" reports is just attacking others who had nothing to do with it. Last tip: when I search for messages about Pelagian, the first thing I will see is their "I had a good time" message, not your "Oh no, it isn't" post 16 posts below that. That's why posting your own "Oh no, it isn't" trip report message is the way to go if you want to be noticed.

Just so you have the facts correct. I did not book a cruise back to back. This charter when I booked was listed as a 10 day charter - at that time there were no 5 day land and boat choices. Six months later when they wanted to fill the boat they opened up the itinerary to two 5 day charters, that is after my booking was fully paid for as a straight 10 day trip. They had to then come back to the resort to drop off and load up the next group thus making this basically as you put it a back to back 5 day charter. There lies the problem, not exploring the original itinerary in (for lack of better explanation) a full circle. It wasn't just that, but how they dealt with this situation and mislead me to believe I was getting something other then what I got.
No need to banter between the two of us - I just felt a forum is a place to share information as you see fit. Cheers.
