Since everyone on this forum was a big help in providing me with guidance on which liveaboard to try during my trip to Phuket last month, I wanted to take a moment to post a quick trip report.

I did a 5-day liveaboard trip with the Jonathan Cruiser on March 15 and, in a few words, had an excellent time! The crew was very polite, fun, and, most importantly, quite professional. The divemasters knew all the best spots for diving and provided very thorough briefings before each dive. The food was also great and I was never hungry. I went solo on the trip, but never felt out of place. While there are certainly fancier boats out there, this boat has to be one of the best values for those who care more about a high level of service rather than a fancy boat.

I am not associated with the Jonathan Cruiser in any way, but wanted to share my experiences on the boat, since I promised to report back after my trip. Their web site is www.jonathan-cruiser.com.

Feel free to e-mail me if you are considering this boat and want my honest opinion on anything.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip on Jonathan Cruiser. This operation is consistant with their excellent service etc over the years. As you say the food is excellent and it is well known that their guests literally roll off the boat at the end of their cruises!!!
