Trip Report - 4/8/2012 - Ocean City, MD

Had a great Easter dive today out of Ocean City, MD! Left the dock aboard "OC Dive Boat" around 7:30am and headed to the African Queen for two dives. Bottom temps were around 50 degrees, not bad at all for April! Viz was 15-20 ft. Got a couple nice tog and plenty of sun!

We have plenty of room for you! You can buddy up with someone on board, no problem.

I have been wanting to dive this boat for a while now. This part of Atlantic is has not been explored very much. Sounds like a nice dive if you get good viz!

Go for it Sinbad! I plan on going out there on Saturday and diving Sunday (also from Woodbridge - Lake Ridge). Jeremiah said they still need another diver for the minimum crew; however, he is not sure how the weather will hold up. I haven't booked yet, but there seem to be a couple cheap hotels around $70 - $80 downtown Ocean City.

Just an update.. Saturday is looking better then Sunday.. The plan for Saturday was to check out some new wrecks (new for us) that we have never dove on. If conditions permit we will head out to some deeper water 100-120 if its blowing a bit we will check out some wrecks closer in.

Most likely if the Saturday trip goes we will be staying closer in 6-10 miles offshore in 70 feet of water or less..

What time is everyone meeting at the dock on Saturday? That trip sounds interesting, but I'll probably have to leave my place around 3:00am. It could work...

We meet at the dock at 7:00am, boat leaves at 7:30am.
