The diving is at the Hotel Ancon at Playa Ancon a few mile south of Trinidad. They have a beach hut base from which you hump your heavy stumpy steel tanks down to the boat. Dives are both wall dives and shallow reefs never a v. long bost ride away & quite pleasant.

Hey Wing nut,

I am presently preparing for my next diving trip to Cuba.

At first, I was looking towards Cienfuego. Last April, I was in Cayo Largo and the instructors over there suggested Cienfuego : They say it is THE best diving spot in Cuba. The region is called " Jardines De La Reina " , but you have to stay on a boat for the duration of your trip ... No sightseeing !!!

I have searched the net and have lots of info on diving in Cuba.

I am including my 2 best sites with the most info on diving in Cuba.
