I just got a new Zeagle Stiletto and it has trim weigths. I have never had a BC with them. I was wanting to know about how much weight you put in them? I dive with 14lbs in my BC know. I was wanting to know were to start and then I can abjust from there

That all depends upon your current trim.

If, when you're diving, you are swimming horizontally, then you need not place weight in your trim pockets.

If you're feet low when swimming, then you need to start putting some weight in your trim pockets . . . just a little bit at a time.

There really is no specific amount of weight to put in trim pockets, it's all about individual trim.

Like K said, it's another tool to establish balance/trim.

For instance if you have floaty feet you would not want anything in there. If you are foot heavy them placing 2 or 3 pounds in each pocket can make a world of difference. I know it did for me.

While your needs will certainly vary from other divers, I find a 60/40 ratio a good place to start. 40% in the trim pockets and 60% in the regular weight pockets.

What Kraken and Spectrum said.

I however found I achieved better trim with my Stiletto by using weight pouches on the upper cam strap. The Zeagle trim pockets were a little low for me.
I had a bonus though. Since the pockets are accessable while wearing the BC and the bottoms could be opened, I used them for storage. Kept a 6' DSMB in one and other assorted stuff in the other.
