trim problems with TransPac weight system

Moving your tank position definitely alters your trim profile, but its quite a problematic fixxer. For instance, if you use different types of tanks, you'll have to determine the ideal position for each one. Also, if your tank band slips (which I see happen constantly), you'll have to make do or readjust in the water. Tank adjustment for trim is not something I teach to new divers, nor practice much myself. For folks that dive very specific rigs and are rather er... anal about their configurations, tank position can be a useful tool.

I'm still using the 'old style' Dive Right weight pockets, and don't have these issues. looks like I won't be trying the 'Transweight' system. Divers Supply used pockets that look identical to these on some of their Sea Elite stuff too, they might be another source to investgate.
 
No again Archman...i have them mounted to the belt that goes around the tummy and way to the back against the plate.....but NOT on the plate. It seems to work for me
