The XS Scuba trim pouches, to be more precise.
I got a couple of these the other day to prepare for a trip down to the FL Springs for Cavern Class. I've been meaning to get them for a while, in fact, but my LDS took their sweet time in restocking them. Aaaaaanyway.
I get them home and find that they are not completely sealed. In fact, there are these two big gaps where the vertical and horizontal webbing cross, through which my 1lbs bean-bags (what I figured I'd keep in there) can slide. Granted, maybe "slide" isnt' the right word; it takes some tugging and shimmying... but they can come through and that makes me paranoid.
So I'm trying to think of how to seal these. The best I've come up with is to hot nail near the edge seams and put a small zip-tie (with the head inside the pouch) as a single stich on each side. The one big hole will, thus, be seperated into two small holes.
Anyone else have a better solution? Am I just being overly cautious and the bags will never, ever find their way out of the pouches?
