I purchased a XS Scuba weight belt a while back and didn't like the velco flap closures. When putting in smaller (2lbs) soft weights the flap overlaps too much not allowing much velcro to stick to each other. I talked to a rep at the Long Beach Scuba Show about extending the velcro down further for this purpose but they didn't seem very concerned about it. So I went to the local bootery and had them extend the velcro. I then started to think that the velcro closure was not very strong and something else needed to be done. I added a loop of bungie in each pocket that secures the flap. I'll post a few pics tomorrow. I tried it last weekend and it works great and there is no zipper to fail or plastic to break!
