I'm going to be enrolling at Halls Diving Academy here shortly to become a dive trainer. How common is it for someone to be a full time instructor and is at hard to get a job like that?

Hey mate, check out this thread here, it's a pretty similar question and the person who posted it has since gone on to become an instructor.

The general consensus appears to be that it is possible to get a job and make a living off being an instructor, but don't expect to get rich quick. Some people have managed to build up reputations and make a decent amount, but most dive instructors live pretty simply when it comes to money. But, on the bright side...you do get to go diving everyday!
