Travel EXP wing

I picked up one of these wings, attached to my Dive Rite SS plate, inflated the wing fully and left over night.

The next morning, it had lost half the air in the wing. Took it back to the shop, swapped it for another and repeated the process. Same result.

My questions would be is this characteristic inherent in this particular wing? Have any other owners out there experienced this? i don't have a lot of requirements about my BC but the ability to hold air is one of them.

Also, the rear dump hits the plate when the wing is inflated, was this wing designed for say, the transpac and not a hard plate? Just curious. I like the wing and can cut the plate, it only hits by about a 3rd of an inch.

Good questions. We like our wings to hold air, too. Could you please send me a picture of your wing? I have a feeling I know what the issue is with the OP valve. Second, when leaving your wing overnight, have you tried fully inflating it without being attached to the rest of the rig?

If these pictures don't give the proper perspective, let me know, I'll take more. i have not tried inflating the detached from the plate. What effect would that have?

Hey,

Well you do indeed have the latest Travel EXP wing. I thought maybe you got a blim wing for some reason (which would explain the OP valve, not the deflation). I am stumped as to why this would happen on any wing, but especially two. I think the best course is to send us your rig and let us evaluate it, at minimum send us the wing. Who is your shop? I'd like to check to see if they have returned your first wing to us for evaluation and see if we can figure out what is going on.

got the wing back, leaks more now than before.

Blow it up and submerge it in your bathtub and try to see where the leak comes from.

Are you sure that it's not leaking through your power inflator or where the corrugated hose screws into the wing?

yes, i inflated it to maximum and bagged the inflator, bag did not expand, no bubbles visible after submerging in my rinse tank. Just received back from dive rite and they said they replaced the dump valve. Being this is the second wing with the same issue and that the issue was verified by the manufacturer, my confidence in this particular model is wavering.
