Yep, I sell the Outlaw, and that is why I make the effort to understand what someone is calling a defect. I guess you and I disagree on what that word means in the context of dive equipment. I reread your post on the other thread, and I would still summarize it as dislikes.

And of course you can think and imply what you like, but if you read my comments, including this thread, I think you will see that I usually detail what I both like and dislike about an item, same as when discussing with customers in my store.

Fair enough, I dislike the Outlaw for a number of reasons.

When I got back from first trip with my Rogue, I passed along 5-6 “feedback” items to Aqualung. But I am still happily diving it. I have never dived a BCD that didn’t have at least one or two things I wish were different. And totally new models are likely to have more than “new” models that are just incremental advances.

I will rethink the Zuma, despite its bigger size.

As much as I'd love to try the Zeagle and Deep 6, I'm not sure they can be serviced down here in Israel.

I have the SP Litehawk. Absolutely love it and if you need less than 16 -20 pounds of weight, you won't need a weight belt. The Litehawk has two rear trim pockets on the back of the BC and it also comes with two accessory pouches that you could use for weights. You can easily put a 4 lb weight in each one and have put a 5 lb weight in each one just to see if they would fit and they did.

The Litehawk is my only BC now as I pretty much dive just warm water travel destinations. I've had SP BC's over the past 27 years and have never had a single issue with any of them. Very well made BC and it has two straps that securely holds the tank in place.

I've never dove the outlaw but have rented a rogue. I liked it in the water, it's comfy out as well. My 2nd rental with it required a bit of a hike and then a beach entry.

The only kicker is the weights. On the boat I could get them in with a little discomort sbut it was doable. I pulled and replaced them intentionally to see if I could. I'm not (quite) THAT guy. Once in, they're in a good place. My first dive I ended up underweight and returned to the boat. I couldn't get the pouch back in, needed to pop out and the boat guys got them replaced for me. Having said that, if I was more experienced with it and just in general, pretty sure I could do it. I'm still new and im not super comfy on the surface. Very mellow under though.

Better route of course is to be properly weighted in the first place...

Other than that it's currently in a tie for 1st place for the bcd I plan on buying this year.
