HI, there. I have been diving in Dominica once, 20 years ago. I loved it! Could anyone recommend a travel agent that could help us with fairly complicated flights into and out of Dominica? We are two people. Thanks!

Great location.
My experience is I can get the info I need from Google Flights or Matrix.
What makes your travel complicated? Pretty straightforward flight ORD-MIA-DOM.

I'm trying to fly in from Belize and out of Dominica to Chicago. I can use google flights, but thought a second pair of eyes would be good.

Similar to @tursiops with using Google to search routes, times, airlines, price etc and narrow it down. Assume you are already searching the Belize to Dominica and Dominica to Chicago as different flights. Shifting the flight by the odd day can sometimes reveal routes if they are not flown daily, or searching individual legs, or when and where flights go to from a specific airport. Don't know if there are direct flights from Belize to Dominica? Sometimes flights through Panama are better than transiting through the USA (no immigration or customs).

Best i can see is AA nonstop BZE to MIA, overnight, AA nonstop to DOM the next day.

Now I understand the travel agent. Looks like AA only fly twice a week.

I did not catch that AA only flies twice a week. I had looked at going through Panama but it looked like that would take longer. I don't understand why panama wouldn't require customs and immigration. Am I missing something?

Yes, MIA-DOM is Sat and Weds only, but BZE-MIA is daily. So one flies from Belize on a Tuesday or Friday, overnights at MIA, and then goes to DOM the next day.

If you transit at Tocumen Airport Panama (PTY). You get off the plane into the boarding area, then walk to the relevant gate for the next flight. You only go through immigration and customs if you enter the country of Panama. There is a slight difference if you are connecting on a flight to the USA as there is another security check near the gate and are confined there. Or it was like this the last time I transited through Panama.

Most international airports I have transited have been like this. Sometimes there is a metal detector to pass through. An exception being the USA, so transiting Miami from Belize To Dominica would mean clearing immigration and customs in Miami.
