Annual Shoreline Clean Up on September 18th, does anyone participate? If not would anyone like to? I bring out more junk than Lobsters usually but I leave more than I bring out (both trash and Lobsters).

Got a boat trip lined up already for that day, but it sounds like a worthwhile endeavor. Have fun collecting trash.

I am pretty sure i'll be there. That's at the NEU location in Nahant isn't it?

I wasn't sure if there was one organized around here. I would be happy to do my part at Nahant or any other location that has the need. Let's see what come up on this thread.

I am not sure if North Eastern is doing one at their site this year , but i found this on new england aquarium dive club site.

9AM-noon Clean Up Dive

The New England Aquarium Dive Club is doing a clean-up event on Sept. 25. I posted a new thread about it. Feel free to join us! We need divers, snorklers and beach combers.

Is this an all day event? Can you come at anytime to participate? I would assume that a low tide would be preferable.

The Nahant clean-up dive and the NEU open house runs all day. Most people come anytime during the morning so don't worry about arriving "on time."

I hope to see some of you there!
