Does anyone here use the Dive-Rite Transplate? I ask because one of the LDSes is offering the following deal. Which is completely assembled and ready to go:

Transplate and harness
Two S/S cam Bands
Two S/S Set Screws
Choice OF
30lb Lift Single Tank Wing
40 lb Lift Single/Double Tank Wing
51lb Lift Single/Double Tank Wing
59lb Lift Double Tank Wing total price $449.99
The shipping is $8 and no sales tax since I live in DE

That is cheapest that if I were to piece meal the system. I had been looking at I would have to build everything myself:

Dive-rite wing = $234.99
SS BP and STA = $99.99
Harness = $50.00 (building myself)
Cam Bands = $70.00
Shipping = $30.00
Total = $484.98 And I am sure I will have missed something.

Should I jump in and buy it? The shop is supposed to be a really good one and it comes with the full warranty. What would you do and why?
Thanks again.
Ben

I just bought a similar package from www.northeastscubasupply.com. If you go to DiveRite's web site and clik on their Tecrec sites under dealers....you may find a store near you that will offer you the same deal .,...but you will have the opportunity to drive there and try it out. If the shop you are dealing with is on the list, yes, the gear comes with a full warrantee and backing by DR.....I called them and asked.

One thing I wish I had done different was the weight pockets. I got the ones that were about 6 inches square and are way too big for my needs. To buy the right size at this point would cost $99.....not gonna happen. So I went to a local shop and
got a diff brand than DR for only $44.

I have only taken the rig to the pool and not out on a "real" dive yet. But I liked the way it worked. No trim problems at all....which is good considering this is my first bp and wing. Personally...I really like the harness. True tec types will disparage it...but I am not one and it fits my needs.

PM me and let me know how it turned out.
