The Diverite Transpac integrated weight pockets i have are big (32 lb). The few weights i take (2 to 4 kg) are rattling around in there and can even slip out of the gap between the velcro if i'm not careful. I also want to have smaller weight pockets to take up less space in my backpack. The 16 lb system from tranpac doesn't look like it can take standard weights (just shot).

Does anyone know of an integrated weight system that i can put on my tranpac II, for use with just a 2 to 4 kg?

Thanks...

I like the Halcyon 6lb weight pockets. Show below is the 10lb version.

The 6lb version is nicely compact. When mounted as far back as possible, they barely extend passed the midline of your body.

Dive Rite makes the 16lb weight pockets which are 1/2 the size of the 32's. They also have the Clipper pocket for up to 5 lbs each.

You can add non-ditchable trim weights in 2, 4, 6lb sizes. I have the 2 lb trim weights - one on each side of the back plate attached to upper drings.

I have both the small (16lb) Transweights and a set of the small Halcyon pockets.

The Transweights work well and are narrow so the are easy to install on the webbing. I do wonder how long the velcro on the flab will hold up.

The Halcyon design as a mechanical clip (plastic) but you will be pushing it get 4lbs in a side even with soft weights. The pockets are wider so you will need more room on your belt (I can't use the Halcyons and an extra mask/storage pocket).

Weight pockets from XS Scuba seem to get good reviews on here. I have not purchased any yet, but will be doing so shortly to replace the 32lb Transweight system I currently use.
