I just picked up a new Transpac II size medium/large. I'm 5'6" 160 lbs.
The manual states the shoulder strap base plates can be moved forward or back for best fit and/or performance.
I recall reading someone stating for best fit and stability to move the shoulder strap base plates as far back as possible.
When I move the strap base plates as far back as possible, I think the medium/large is too small for me. The adjustable shoulder straps are almost at their ends. If I move the base plates directly under my armpits the shoulder straps have a good 3 inches of adjustment left.
Where do you Transpac II owners have you shoulder strap base plates located ?
