It looks from the Dive Rite website that if you have a Transpac you can buy the "Nomad Kit" to create a Sidemount system. There is also the Nomad EXP, which is one complete system. Is there much difference in performance between simply upgrading the Transpac using the "Nomad Kit" and the Nomad EXP complete system or is the difference minimal?

Hi Selachimorpha,

There is no difference. If you have a TransPac that is not dedicated to another setup, use it to build your own Nomad. However, once your Nomad is assembled, please note that you will not want to unassemble it to use the TransPac for another wing. In other words, you'll want to dedicate the harness to the Nomad.

Best,
Kathleen
