Transpac and Travel EXP wing

I have purchased a last years Transpac and EXP wing for my girlfriend. The Camband dimension where it comes off the Transpac is a few inches wider than the opening in the Travel wing. I notice on many of the other dive rite wings pictorially the opening is wider. When I put the wing on and brought the cambands through, naturally this puckered the wing where the cambands where. Is this not detrimental to the wing? Is this years Transpac any different in this area?

Thanks Kathleen, I have sent it back but I am curious why these wings were not recalled or the dealers notified to their defect. The serial numbers were known and it is somewhat of a hassle let alone time for the replacement of the wings.

Our dealers were notified, however the wing is workable and while a bit of a bear to thread the cam straps, works fins. A recall is typically not employed for products that are safe and in working order.
