Hey Guys,

I am looking at a Dive Rite Transpac 1 on ebay for about $115. Is this a good deal? I know that transpac 1's havent been manufactured for 10 years. The package includes the 16 and 32lb weight pouches, a wreck wing and a thigh pocket. What do I need to watch out for when purchasing this type of bc, and is this totally obsolete compared to the Transpac 2?

If in good condition I prefer the Transpac 1 as it has less padding and thus less bouyancy to overcome...

The basic design is pretty much the same. There are some cosmetic differences, but the function is the same. You can use the newer wings with the old design.
