Hello. I have been diving for many years but only get to dive every summer vacation.
My question is:
a-Has anyone used this equipment and do you have any feedback on it (or transmitters in general verses traditional equipment)
b- Very impt?-Will using this only 1 trip a year be damaging to equipment/storing unused such a long time between trips?
I must buy dive computers no matter what as I pay so much to rent that it only makes sense to own. Should I just buy computer and forgo transmitter completely?
Much appreciate feedback

Long time storage shouldn't be a problem if it's dry and stored in a dry place...You may have to replace the battery [depending on which brand you get] every year....You didn't say how often you dove each summer but if it's daily and the cost of renting is as high as you indicated, definitely get your own....I use four 'hoseless' computers for different environments and like them all......
