A diver in Stonington has died after being recovered from the water, police said.

Authorities said that they responded to the Stonington Town Fishing Dock and performed CPR.

After CPR, the victim was transported to Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island where he was pronounced dead, according to Stonington police.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Stonington Police Department.
 
Electric shock? We have these buoys now that we deploy near docks to check for electric current.
 
Saw in the news that a diver died at Cape Cod.
That would be this incident, I think. He was a relatively famous diver as well an attorney who got a wribgly convicted man out last year,,,
