You have a lot of equipment for a starter. Generally people have a strobe but you also have a Sola 800, which really is luxury
With the combination of your Sola light as a flood light, your strobe and the wide angle lens you are set for some great close focus wide angle
For Macro though you will be shooting most just with your strobe as you really want a black background, starting point is your lowest ISO, F8 or even higher if you can, 1/1000 or the fastest possible shutter speed and then your strobe set to manual (at 500 or faster the TTL will most likely not fire) to give you an idea this shot is done with the internal flash of a compact camera...
