Tortuga Charters in Morehead City now has set aside a limited number of weekend days dedicated for open seating. Now you and your buddy can dive with us without having to put together an entire group to charter the whole boat!

Details here: Open Seating Dates | tortugacharters.net

This may be of interest. I just added this to the "Open Seating Day" policy:

The “target destination” can be set with the 1st two reservations. For example: the first buddy team to register can request the target wrecks or start a spearfishing trip to ledges and rocks. An Open Seating Day can be started on any open weekday with a 2 seat reservation. Minimum 4 divers required to run.

I can attest that Tortuga Charters is top notch.

Capt. James- Look forward to seeing you again this coming weekend.

Did two trips to NC last year and used Tortuga Charters for both. The Capt. knows the sea well.

My first trip was in May, the boat was escorted back to the shoreline by a humpback whale who breached the surface over a dozen times.

My second trip was in Sept, we saw a double rainbow in the sky that morning, had flat calm seas, 80 degree water temps, 70 ft blue water viz and a TON of sand tiger sharks!!!!!

Good stuff. Capt. James and Tortuga Charters are the way to go when NC diving.

MDWreckdiver...is that Nathan? Things seem to be coming together nicely for the weather. It is a long ride to the Naeco stern but well worth it. I wish I was diving. This is one of my favorite wrecks.

Sam, you are always so good to me. When are you coming back? I enjoyed having Kate on the boat Saturday and her group is back for 3 days Memorial Day weekend.

Nope, Capt, you are always so good to me. :hugs:

Not sure when I'm hitting NC this year because the FL caves keep calling me. I'll let you and Mundo know when I know. :D

Kate mentioned what a great time she had on your boat and that she was returning for Memorial Day weekend.

Hey Capt, yeah its Nate. We are all set and will be leving MD around 1300 tomorrow. I can't wait!
