Topiramate and diving

Hi. I would like to dive with the rest of my family and have been given the all-clear by my neurologist. The next step is to see the dive doctor. I have TLE and have kept it under control for the past 4 years with topalex. The neuro did however mention a link between topiramate and acidosis at a certain depth. Could you shed more light on this please?

There is some literature on metabolic acidosis in topiramate patients but I couldn't find anything that mentioned it being related to pressure.

Did your neurologist provide any more details, or a reference?
