I've never dived outside the US, meaning Gulf, East coast Fla, and New England.

So, in my very limited and, uh, cheapskate-type experience,

Flower Garden and Stetson Banks
Hole in the Wall off Jupiter
Drift dive reefs off Palm Beach or Jupiter
Chester Poling off Gloucester, Mass
Lemon shark dive in February off Jupiter
Platform dive off Texas
Wrecks off Orange Beach and Pensacola

and..

the dive in the New Orleans marina where I found my lost eyeglasses. Saved me good money, though couldn't see S*%t

;-)

My favorite Channel Islands diving's up in San Miguel ... Farnsworth Bank's probably second. But I've never done any of the oil rigs, and I hear that's pretty spectacular.

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

A couple summers ago we were doing the rigs almost every day. We had a stretch of 75F, ZERO current, FLAT, cobalt blue water (unlimited visibility) You could actually see from one side of Ellie to the other and that's well over 200 ft. I saw Mobulas, Pelagic Rays and there's a 50 pound Sheephead that lives at Ellie at 80 ft and he's always looking for a handout. Be careful harvesting scallops around him, he may take a finger off - accidentally of course. Incredible diving if it's good.
