G'day,
It's an interesting set of lists, but I guess it's a very subjective and personal thing when one starts to make such lists.
There are three aircraft carriers that can be dived and I've been fortunate enough to have gone down to both the HMS Hermes (95) off Batticoa, Sri Lanka, and the USS Saratoga (CV-3) at Bikini Atoll, Marshall Islands. I'd rate the HMS Hermes as the more challenging diving, but I loved diving on the USS Saratoga way more.
I personally rate the USS Saratoga ahead of the SS President Coolidge in Santo, Vanuato.
While I loved diving on the various cargo shipwrecks at Chuuk Lagoon, Micronesia, and I want to go back there again, I'd rate diving on the magnificent sunken nuclear fleet of warships at Bikini Atoll as way more interesting. That's why I'm heading back to Bikini Atoll again in October 2013 - see

Certainly the
Liberty Ship off Tulamben, Indonesia can be very special at certain times of the day.
Because I was involved in the sinking of the HMAS Canberra (FFG-02) off Melbourne, Australia, I get a special kick out of diving on it. But of all of the many great wrecks I dive on in Victoria, Australia, (including our four WW1 submarines) I still have a special spot in my heart for the Eliza Ramsden. My second open water dive on my Open Water course and I got to see the magnificent bow of an 1800s clipper ship.
As for my bucket list, well more diving on the wrecks at Bikini Atoll and Chuuk Lagoon. It would be nice to dive the USS Oriscany (CV-34) off Florida, USA if only to be able to say I've dived all three of the aircraft carriers. But I'm reliably told the
Yongala off Ayres Beach, Australia will be way more delightful.
Best regards, Lloyd Borrett.
