I sent my camera to Olympus Repair in California to get some fuzz removed. It was received there on the 12th and, according to the website and an email for tracking, it's on its way home. No charges were listed anywhere. Of course no details on the repair were posted on the website and they are closed until Monday so I can't find out what they did to fix the fuzz. The camera is due to be back to me on the 18th. Hopefully this is a two thumbs up for Oly California. Much better than their New York counterparts. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Hopefully it's a freebie Yoda...

the force is strong in this one. :D

Maybe they just have notes from my last "happy" experience with them :D. I really hated even the thought of sending the thing back after its last trip to New York. This could very well redeem them in my eyes.

I must give kudos to Olympus Repair in California. I called them today to see what they did to fix my camera and they said they cleaned it and did some sort of focus adjustment. All was under warranty (re-do) so no charge. I'm scheduled to see the camera back here tomorrow - I can't wait!

GREAT JOB OLYMPUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

way to go, Californians for you. :D

SeaYoda, crossing light-sabers with Olympus again?!! Have you considered negotiating a contract? Where does the rep live? Maybe send the boys around.

We have come full circle - now I am the master. The power of the light side wins out!
